Paris Disneyland Travel back to Disneyland Paris, formerly known as Euro Disney, was a haven for many European families since it opened in the 90′s. Although the park has suffered some setbacks during the first year, Disneyland Paris has secured its future as one of the best tourist destinations in Europe.
The opening of the park is more exciting for us, that Western culture is reflected in Disney had a closer relationship with one of our European neighbors. With ferries and hovercraft Golden Age, families could visit France for a long weekend and return the next day with a boot full of wine and cheese.
Now I have crossed the Channel several times with my brother grew up, got another family trip around the French countryside.
Somehow I felt like the hovercraft has been replaced by the catamaran. The Seacat was a popular company to travel with the fear hit me like a child who makes the hovercraft.
The boarding procedure was the same, park and wait to drive the ship.
Now the most popular method of transportation is by train through the tunnel. As with all old cars in silence, innovations faster and smoother to render obsolete the people prefer to save time and money instead of trying to travel as part of the trip. The Channel was a monumental feat of engineering when it was designed, but now is almost a way of life, with people practically travel in France for stays of short duration.
